The punk. I'm thinking her name is Phoebe. Hrm. I was also considering Lisa.

Still have another drawing to ink & 2 coloured pencil drawings of Phoebe. One's really bad, so I might not scan that.

Self-explanatory. Quick, unfinished sketch of a table and chair.

My aunt sleeping on the couch. She doesn't look like that. Le sigh. I'll never get faces right.

I was bored in the car, so I drew the cat, then the dog, then the person, then the mouse, then the bird. Style inspired by cats from the Homestarrunner Halloween episode.

Nora was drawing Rapunzel, so I did too. Dress inspired by a Dior dress Hilary Swank was sporting in an issue of InStyle I was browsing through in the car. Her hair was going to go out a window, but I was too lazy.

Le sigh. I have new comments now, but the old ones are lost forever. ;-;
GACK. WHERE DID MY COMMENTS GO? H8 @ BLOGGER X INFINITY!!!

Last night I remembered I'd wanted to work on the character designs, so I drew a line drawing of my hippie character, gave her curly hair and named her Dahlia, which is a kind of flower named after a dead Swedish botanist: one Anders Dahl. After I finished, I copied the image with my amazing Hewlett Packard OfficeJet G55 printer/scanner/copier and coloured her in with coloured pencils.

I also drew & coloured the side view and then went to bed. This morning I drew & coloured the angry, sad, & chibi Dahlias while making sure Nora didn't die. [She was chundering all morning & had a temperature of 104. Well, okay, so I wasn't really making sure she didn't die, but Mutti told me to sit by her and get her anything if she needed it. Of course she fell asleep, so I had nothing better to do than colour.]

Later today, I scanned the line drawing and CGed it with Photoshop. My first ever photoshop CG! Well, except for one I did a long time ago with a trial version that I COULDN'T SAVE BECAUSE THE STUPID THING WOULDN'T LET ME. h8h8h8h8h8h8. Er, anyway. I was excited to CG because I had the opportunity to finally use this tutorial. I've been so jealous of that girl's CGing skillz for ages, but I couldn't use that tutorial because I have PSP, which just isn't the same. But now that I've illegally downloaded Photoshop, all is right with the world. Huzzah.

Last night I was doodling for lack of something better to do and decided I needed an original character I could draw everywhere. You know, so I could always have something to draw, instead of just random patterns and lines, &c. So I started to draw a girl [hippie girl] and then I was like, Hm, I could have like superheroes! And they could all be like stereotypes! And then I was going to have five, like the Power Rangers, but that was too much work, so I settled for three, like the Powerpuff Girls.

So today I might work on character designs for them. The punk girl looks too much like Monique from Sinfest, I'm thinking. So I'll have to change her. And I did the goth girl right before bed, so I was kind of hurrying. I need to work out her details.

An idea for a new layout that I never finished.

I am so bored and have nothing better to do, so here. A quick & sloppy sketch. . . . I don't know, she looks surreal. Eyes too big, face weirdly-shaped.
